Yugoslavia was the first communist country to participate to the Europa stamps issue program in 1969 already! They issued Europa stamps every year since then even during the war in ex-Yugoslavia. In February 2003 Yugaslavia got a new country name, it has been replace by Serbia and Montenegro. The post is divided in two postal administrations, the one of Serbia and the one of Montenegro but for the moment they keep issuing stamps baring the name "Srbije i Crne Gore" for both entities (in Latin and Cyrillic alphabet). Maybe in a near future we will have stamps baring the name of Serbia and stamps from Montenegro too.
